10:45am TRU
1st-4th grade
Main Focus: God Keeps His Word (Genesis 6:5-9:17: The Flood)

Anticipate: Animal Puppets
We all live by God's grace.  He gives us lives so that we can praise Him and obey Him.  In the story of Noah, God preserved not only Noah's family as remnants, but also two of each kind of animals.
Worship with singing:  led by JrHi / High School band
Memory Verse: "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments."  (Deuteronomy 7:9)
Game: Building with Steady Hands
Just as God gave Noah specific instructions to build the ark, we had to play this game by following instructions.
God sent the flood, just as He promised.  He protected Noah and his family from the flood, just as He promised.  After the flood, God made a rainbow to symbolize His promise to never flood the earth again.  Because we know God always keeps His promises, we can trust Him and have hope that one day, Jesus will return to take us to heaven to be with Him forever.

RESPOND: Seeing the Rainbow Behind the Darkness
Even behind the darkness, God's promise is still there.  God always keeps His word.
