April Lessons

God graciously responds when people gather to worship Him.
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs."--Psalm 100:1-2
God is gracious!

April 19th:
Jacob's Altar--Genesis 35:1-15
God's people sacrificed animals on altars to receive forgiveness of sins.
"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."--Deuteronomy 6:6-7
God is forgiving!
April 26th:
"For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth;
you are exalted far above all gods."--Psalm 97:9
God is Most High!

God is Lord of the Sabbath. When we choose to set aside time to remember and celebrate who God is, we are keeping the Sabbath.
