John's Vision--Revelation 5
"And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”--Revelation 5:13
Jesus Is the Lamb of God!

God Is Powerful (Acts 1-2; Luke 24:52-53--Ascension)
These words all mean Pentecost. Many languages were spoken on the day of Pentecost after Jesus' ascension.
God showed His power when He sent the Holy Spirit to the disciples after Jesus ascended to heaven. On the day of Pentecost, the believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. The Holy Spirit then empowered the once-fearful Peter to tell thousands of people about Jesus. About 3,000 people believed in Jesus that day! God is powerful!
Braids of Strength--we can be stronger with God's power
Today, the Holy Spirit indwells in believers and continues to teach, correct and enable believers to do God's work on earth even when it gets difficult. We can say NO to sin and temptations and say YES to telling others about God with His power.
"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."-- Acts 1:8
May our children's lives overflow with the power of the Holy Spirit. May God’s amazing power fill them with joy, comfort, and guidance as they share Him with the world.
