Main Focus: God Is I AM
Moses (Exodus 1-4)

Anticipate: 10 Commandment Puzzle
When we think of Bible heroes like Moses it seems that they must have known the big things God had planned for them otherwise how did they prepare for them or have the courage to do them. Typically, that’s not what happens! Remember how long Joseph had to wait to find out his purpose in Egypt? In today's story, Moses got a call from God to lead His people. He didn’t feel ready at all!
Moses was especially known for the 10 commandments but for most of his life he didn’t know what God had planned for him! Yet God loved him enough not only to reveal Himself to Moses but also to tell Moses His name--I AM.

Drive-In Theater Celebration:
This Sunday, we finally celebrated the completion of the rock wall.
Each child got to choose a cardboard box and turned it into a vehicle.
We had a Drive-In theater showing this week's Big God Story (God revealed His name to Moses) on screen while having popcorn and boxed juices. =)  The Cabin smelled like butter!
Announcements about this party was made in class and through emails to the parents.
Many kids told their parents, "I have to be at the party!  I've worked so hard to put my rocks into the rock wall.  This is MY party."
