Main Focus: Jesus Is Our Passover Lamb
Good Friday and Easter
(Luke 22-24)

Anticipate: "Jesus Is ALIVE" Pop up scene
Easter is all about Jesus.  Even though Jesus helped heal the sick, performed miracles and preached repentance, He was born to suffer and die on the cross for our sins and be resurrected and leave His tomb empty. "There's no gloom inside the tomb, " because Jesus is alive!

Memory Verse
"The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love."--Psalm  145:8

Like the Passover lamb, Jesus sacrifice Himself on the cross on our behave.  Just like death passover the houses with the lamb's blood on their door frames on the 1st Passover in Egypt, because of the blood of Jesus, death passover His believers.  Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, so all who believe in Him can be forgiven, restored and have new life.  Jesus IS our Passover Lamb.

Respond: "Easter Baskets" with Cheering for Jesus
Easter baskets signify new life, rebirth and renewal.  In church history, eggs were often used to symbolize our soul.  Giving Easter baskets is a reminder for us to give our hearts and souls to Jesus and each other.

“The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.”                                                        —Psalm 145:8

May our children know that Jesus is their Passover Lamb who took away the punishment of death and reconciled man to God.  Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, our children can have eternal hope and live with God forever.
